We bring you a simple hair mask recipe that is bound to do your locks some good! The most important ingredient in this recipe is flax seeds. If they are not something you have in your pantry, we recommend stocking up on some: it’s not only great for your hair, but for your body too.
Other than their incredible nutritional value, flax seeds are jam-packed with vitamin E and Omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for both the skin and hair.
Simple hair mask with apricot kernel oil:
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons Opzoek Apricot Kernel Oil
- 1 ½ cups of water
Method:
- Add the flax seeds and water to a small pot and bring to a boil.
- Simmer until it has a gel-like consistency.
- Let it cool to room temperature, and strain the liquid through cheesecloth (or muslin).
- Mix in the two tablespoons of Opzoek Apricot Kernel Oil.
It’s as simple as that! Apply the mask to damp hair and leave it in for an hour before washing it out.
